Program Information ..:::.. Windy City Diving

Windy City Diving Team is comprised of 10 levels. Each level has been identified with a training group; Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Level 8-10 is Gold Group and is reserved for those who have a national level competitive FINA list of dives on both 1 & 3 Meter springboard. These divers possess a high level of motivation, plenty of courage and a strong list of dives. These divers compete at all local, regional and national meets.

Level 6-7 is the Silver Group and is for those divers who wish to compete at the local and regional level and have a competitive FINA list on both 1 and 3 meter boards for their age group.

Level 4-5 is the Bronze Group and is open to any diver who has at least a FINA 1 meter list for their age and a novice 3 meter list. These divers to compete at all local meets.

There are 3 levels of lessons, 1-3 that are offered - Beginner and Pre-Team/ Novice Group. In the lesson program the beginner divers learns the front and back approach, body alignment and basic dives. If a diver shows real excitement for diving in the lessons and learns enough dives, he or she will be invited to join the team once they have acquired enough dives to be able to compete at a local meet.
