The team was established in 1997. It is based at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois, and is a part of the Patriot Aquatics Club. The program is a year round competitive United States Diving Team, where the coaching staff strives to create an atmosphere where each diver will be able to achieve his or her own potential in a positive and nurturing environment. The Windy City Diving Team has developed into a strong competitive team within Illinois, the Midwest region, and at the national level.
